"Remnants: Mountain Lion" Drawing

This drawing is titled “Remnants: Mountain Lion” and is one of six pieces from the "Remnants" series which depicts large carnivores of North America.

The drawing measures 5" x 7" and was created using colored pencil and transparent glazes of acrylic. The halo around the mountain lion’s head was painted with a metallic gold acrylic that sparkles and reflects light.

This mountain lion is custom framed with a double mat and a sleek dark brown wood frame. The full size of the piece including framing is 11.75" x 13.75". This drawing was framed with archival materials and UV-filtering acrylic. This special acrylic keeps UV light from damaging the art and also allows the piece to be shipped safely.
