Spend the day in Brigantine
Coming to my Summer Open Studio on August 16th? Here’s my recommendations for spending the day in Brigantine, NJ!
breakfast
Yianni’s Cafe

They have the GOOD BAGELS - ‘nuf said. My rec is definitely a breakfast sandwich on a bagel!
Brigantine Farmer’s Market
Brigantine Community School Parking Lot, 8:00am - 12:00pm
If you arrive before my studio opens at 10am, make a stop at the farmer’s market to check out a rotating selection of local vendors. There’s a great selection of food vendors for an on-the-go breakfast.

I’m open 10am-6pm, so stop by anytime (or more than once if you like!)
My studio is on the 2nd floor of the strip mall with Dollar Tree. The building has an outdoor stairwell and elevator to access the 2nd floor. Once upstairs, you'll see the entrance to WOLF Gym on one side of the stairwell and a hallway on the other side. My studio is down the hallway and I'll have signs pointing the way!
The Beach
If the weather is nice, take a walk or a nap in the sand. Daily beach tags are $10 and can be purchased at 265 42nd St.
If you want to enjoy the beach views without getting sandy, check out LaScala’s Beach House (more info in the dinner section.)
W.O.L.F Gym
If you want to get in a workout and shower while you’re on the island, WOLF has day passes (and they’re conveniently located right across the stairwell from me!)
lunch
These 3 eateries and all on the same block (West Brigantine Ave. between 33rd and 34th Streets) so it’s the perfect spot if you’re in a group and everyone wants a different lunch!
Ernest and Son

Hot and cold subs. Definitely your spot if you’re craving a cheesesteak… I’d recommend “The Big Mel.”
Tiki Taco

Build your own burritos, bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. Fresh ingredients with lots of choices.
Jersey Cow

Delicious handmade ice cream in rotating flavors. Soft serve, sundaes, shakes - they have it all.
evening activities
Sunset at Jetty Beach
Beach access at the corner of Ocean Drive West and Bay Court on the South end of Brigantine.
Watch the sunset at Jetty Beach for gorgeous views of the inlet and Atlantic City. BYO drinks and beach chairs for a romantic, relaxing evening.
Dinner
We’re in South Jersey, so I hope you like Italian food!
Andre’s Wine Bar and Grill

Classic Italian fair in a casual atmosphere. This is my go-to for the classics like chicken parm.
LaScala’s Beach House
1400 Ocean Ave, Brigantine, NJ 08203
This is the only restaurant in Brig that is right on the beach! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the honey ricotta board appetizer is INSANELY DELICIOUS!
Cordivari’s Restaurant
3004 W Brigantine Ave, Brigantine, NJ 08203
This is a BYOB and there’s a liquor store on the island, so it’s a great option if you prefer to bring your favorite wine. It’s small and cozy (I would definitely recommend making a reservation for a summer Saturday.)
Night life
If you’re ready for a night on the town, you can head right over the bridge to Atlantic City!
